The Durham Museum is located in Omaha, Nebraska. This is a fun museum for kids of all ages. There are many different things you are able to see throughout the museum. You will learn about many different people and what they have done on the railroad. There are many different areas throughout the museum that will teach you about different things that have happened throughout history.

Homestead National Monument

Homestead National Monument is located in Beatrice, Nebraska. This is a very fun, friendly, and entertaining monument that is for the whole family. Here you will learn about what life was like to live for those who lived on the farm and how they lived everyday. This monument will also show you different people who were important that started different plantations in different parts of Nebraska. You can explore different trails, exhibits, and events throughout the monument. There is also FREE public wireless internet services.

Stuhr Museum

The Stuhr Museum is a museum located in Grand Island, Nebraska. This museum is a Prairie museum full of culture and historical content throughout the entire museum. This is a museum where you are able to see what it was like to live in the older days where they had wood shops and small towns where every one knew every body in the village.

The Stuhr Museum is open 7 days a week.

Why I’m building a Website

I am building a website because I have to for my mulitimedia apps class. I chose the topic of Nebraska sites because I love exploring Nebraska and seeing what new adventures are out there for me to see. It is also fun to see and meet new people with every different site I see. There are many different people that I see at the different places I go, and some of them are even from other parts of the country or from other countries.

Nebraska is a beautiful state and is one that has lots of history within it. There are many historical sites that one may visit when exploring Nebraska. They also are all across the state. There are some in Omaha and some in some places such as North Platte or areas out by North Platte. Some of them are right along the interstate so you are able to see them when you drive by on your way to where ever you may be going.
